I have been working out at WTF 3 days a week going on my 6th or 7th month now, and the atmosphere is beyond amazing. I have gone to morning and evening classes, and no matter the time slot it’s always an amazing group of people there to support and help each other, with Jolene at the center of it all keeping us motivated and moving. I started coming here when I was 4 months postpartum and I’m just a couple pounds shy of my pre-baby weight, with the inches continuing to dwindle. When I started here I was fearful it would be another work out program I started and didn’t stick too. WTF proves to me that there is a program for everyone, and you shouldn’t quit until you find something that works for YOU. Jolene is especially good at finding what that is for each person as an individual. I am forever grateful to have found her, and that she is willing to invest her time and share her knowledge with me in return.

I just celebrated my 1 year training anniversary at WHISKEY TANGO FITNESS! When I first joined this crew I was simply looking to get out of my house and have some adult interaction. I had 2 babies under the age of 2, and needed to do something for ME. I have since lost 40 pounds and 10% body fat. My fitness level has increased tremendously, and I can preform tasks with much more ease. Physically, I am more confident in myself than I have ever been in my entire life, and I know that with Jolene's guidance I can continue to improve my abilities. More importantly, I am happy and PROUD of myself and enjoy working out - which I never thought possible. The support and encouragement that travels around at THE GRIND is something that you have to experience yourself to truly understand the magnitude. I think that is what makes WTF the place to be.

I never enjoyed working out before coming here. Jolene encourages me to push myself, and makes me want to perform better. The crew at THE GRIND is something that also keeps me coming. Everyone is supportive and positive. We are set up to succeed. All aspects of lifestyle transformation in your personal journey are met here and if you ever have a question or need help someone is available. This place has become my home. These people are my family.

I joined WTF in March of 2019. I've lost 20 pounds and kept it off. This is the most consistent I've ever been with my workouts, and I will continue to invest in myself with Jolene's guidance. She's amazing, and has created a great workout community and culture with WTF. I have been to many trainers and different gyms, and there's something that makes this different. Jolene’s accountability, loving way of toughness, and the way she kicks our butts, gives amazing results. Its given me new confidence. I will forever be grateful for Jolene and WTF.

The community and facility that Jolene has created at Whiskey Tango Fitness is just incredible. I love working out with other people that have similar goals to mine: to live a healthy and active life, all with Jolene there to guide us, instruct us, and motivate us, without being condescending or aggressive. Jolene’s knowledge is extensive and she applies it to each individual person expertly! I always know that when I show up to WTF I will be challenged in a way that is safe, but effective towards reaching my weight and health goals.

I started with Jolene 2 months before I got pregnant with my son. I started with personal training and then shortly after stared The Grind. I continued going to The Grind consistently throughout my pregnancy. Jolene modified workouts where needed, and I even worked out on my due date!  Not only did this make me feel great throughout my pregnancy, but also made it much faster to bounce back after having my son. Jolene has this amazing ability to make you feel comfortable and confident. She is not only my trainer, she has become a good friend. Those are the things you can’t get at a big box gym!

I started training with my niece Jolene 3 x per week which eventually evolved into 5-6 days per week. In my mid 40’s, I had gained some weight and felt very sluggish and miserable. I’m now approaching 52, and I can say I feel great about myself and have so much energy now that she’s actually turning me into a gym rat. With my continued hard work and clean eating I have dropped the weight and actually have muscle definition showing.  Jolene is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session. Her friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere at her amazing facility. She makes each workout challenging, creative, and most importantly fun! She also places a high value on correct form with each exercise. She motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results. I now can say I have incredible energy and my lower back issues have improved from core strengthening exercises. I started my journey with Whiskey Tango Fitness on Jan 4, 2018. Little did I know that this journey would forever change my life. When I walked into WTF I was broken, recovering from multiple shoulder tears, and overweight. But Jolene worked closely with me. She sometimes offered modifications to my workouts yet she was always encouraging me to push myself and to remain consistent even if I wasn’t seeing change. I was noticing less aches and pains in my shoulder, I could actually do a push up, I felt more flexible, and I was gaining strength both physically and mentally. I began to appreciate progress photos, assessment days and even videos of myself. As the months continued, I continued to persevere. Through extreme dedication, commitment, discipline, determination and consistency, I started to see results. I will see my success as a journey not a destination as I continue to work towards life-long goals and write the next chapter of my life.

I have worked out with Jolene since May 2018, when I came to her for Personal training three months after giving birth to my daughter with the goal of fitting in a bridesmaids dress for an upcoming wedding. I honestly hated working out because I couldn’t believe how out of shape I was, and going to the gym became intimidating. Grad school and pregnancy changed my body in ways my mind couldn’t comprehend. After less than 10 weeks I reached my goal, but I continued to show up month after month to The Grind. Jolene truly cares about every individual. She is always working to find new ways to challenge us, which makes it hard to get bored. She takes every complaint with a smile because at the end of the day she has been there. She has taught me how to invest in myself. As a nursing/working mom I struggle with my eating habits. Jolene laughs with me when I confess my struggles and encourages with no judgement. The Grind is a place full of fun, laughter, sweat and maybe some tears. I have truly been transformed mentally and physically by her program.

I have been with WTF for two years and counting. It all started with a simple YES! And, that yes has changed my life dramatically. I have been battling diabetes for over 10 years now. But since I've started with WTF, my diabetes has finally gotten under control. My doctor has told me what ever I'm doing to keep on doing it.

I owe it all to Jolene, and the ladies and gentlemen of WTF. Jolene is a great trainer, and now a dear friend—but that won't stop her from kicking your butt everyday. When I first said yes I didn't think I would last this long. The hard part was coming everyday and doing it. But I did come everyday, and I loved it. Jolene was great and the group of people were amazing. They are the reason I come everyday they are my motivation. Everyone encourages you to keep pushing and not to give up on yourself. So if your thinking of joining our group, let me just tell you one thing…say YES. Conquer that battle that you are fighting, whether it be with health, body or just yourself.

Jolene is one of a kind, and the BEST INSTRUCTOR. Without Jolene, I don’t think that I could have even considered reaching my personal fitness goals. But, she makes it possible by working one on one with you even in group setting. She works with me to plan what to do each month to stay on track on achieving these goals of mine. When I took her guidance and moved forward to bring change in me, within a month, I’m down 9 pounds and 5 inches. She makes sure to work you out to your max capabilities. Jolene makes the ambiance of the facility super enthusiastic and friendly, so that one won’t feel awkward being a part of our group. This place helps me overcome my daily stress, so I’m guilty of being in love with the facility and my entire workout crew. Thanks, Jolene for having such a beautiful place where one can come and feel our best.

I have been at WTF for 1.5 years now. Jolene is the most knowledgeable, energetic, and all around complete trainer I’ve ever worked with! She is 100% focused on her clients, and it is clear that she derives joy from their success. I’ve lost pounds and inches, and gained strength and energy.
